500 g frozen puff pastry
10 slices of yellow cheese
1 egg
nigella or sesame seeds for sprinkling
1 Defrost the puff pastry in the fridge, unfold and cut into 10 pieces.
2 Place a slice of cheese on each piece of pastry.
3 Wrap the sausage in the prepared pastry and place them on a baking sheet lined with baking paper.
4 Cut the sausage in the pastry so that the sausages are cut and the pastry underneath is whole.
5 Move the pieces apart slightly.
6 In a simpler version, cut the dough into one-inch strips and wrap sausages with cheese in it.
7 Brush the top with beaten egg and sprinkle with nigella or sesame seeds.
8 Bake for 20 minutes in an preheated oven at 200°C.
